The styles range from Sioen Flexothane, windproof and waterproof trousers are an essential for those wanting a lighter, quieter alternative to traditional waterproofs. They are fully resistant to oil and fungal growth, whilst remaining strong and flexible come with or without insulation to keep you warm in the winter months. Hiking Trousers
Regatta adult Dayhike trousers and childrens Heathtek are made from a waterproof stretch fabric making them easy to wear and comfortable. You wouldn’t even know they were waterproof and this makes them an ideal choice for Duke of Edinburgh students at a fraction of the price of other brands. We also have a range of hiking trousers from Regatta and Craghoppers and even shorts for both genders in the warmer months.
For the ladies the top of the range waterproof trousers come from Sweden. These are stylish, fit beautifully and can be worn all day. They are essentially trousers made by Silverpoint but with a waterproof membrane.

Fleece never goes out of fashion and over the past few years our collection of fleece mid layers has gone from strength to strength. We have fleeces for every type of weather! From a light weight micro fleece ¼ zip just to keep the chill out, to our heavy weight 200 gram fleeces that won’t let any of it in! At Stockley we are aware that our customer’s thrive on outdoor activities, and so it is important to us that we can cater for all that you may need whilst doing so! We have a range of baselayers to keep you warm in the colder months whatever it is you are doing, however we also have a range of short sleeved technical baselayers in the summer months that will allow you to breathe and move freely without getting too hot. Soft Shell Jackets
Soft shell is a fabric that is hugely practical. It is made from woven materials used to make technical outdoor clothing that’s more breathable (but less water and wind resistant), more flexible, and generally more durable than hardshell materials. Softshells emerged in the early to mid-2000s in outdoor activities like climbing and mountaineering—aerobic activities with dynamic weather conditions, where a highly breathable, somewhat waterproof, somewhat windproof piece of technical clothing kept its wearer moving, dry, and warm.
Softshell Jackets are designed with aerobic activities in mind. The jackets come in varying degrees of thickness and trade some measure of waterproof-ness or windproof-ness for breathability and stretch, important qualities for activities like climbing, mountaineering, ski-touring, backpacking, cycling, and running.
